Our Divine Soul
We are divine, cosmic, eternal and infinite sparks of the Creator in human form.
According to Aristotle, “The WHOLE is greater than the sum of all its parts.”
Existentially speaking, we live on four different levels which are intrinsically connected vibrating at a particular frequency that creates our physical form and experiences.
However, there’s much more to us than our bodies, minds and emotions. Imagine a four-petaled flower. Each petal represents an aspect of you:
Your body
Your mind
Your emotions and
Your divine soul.
Divinity - what kind of feelings, sensations or ideas, does this word or concept invoke in you? Take a moment to pause. Connect to your breath and to your heart, then ask yourself, ‘where do these feelings, sensations and ideas come from?’ You see, words create worlds so whatever you believe about something, it tends to show up in your reality. We tend to embody the beliefs, conditioning, programmes and mental constructs we are exposed to. I think of divinity as holding the energetic frequency of beauty, love, grace and gentle fierceness. It invokes in me a benevolent sense of sacredness that holds the quality of being holy, heavenly and spiritual.
Infinity… If eternity means it has no beginning and no end, it has always existed and will always exist, then as divine souls, we carry the flame of infinity on a journey of eternal creation and limitless possibilities. That said, if there is no end, then it is fair to say that our soul never dies. It is the body that perishes only to embrace and embody other experiences in its pursuit to expand and evolve its consciousness.
Vast vacuum of versatile vastness, traversing the multiverses beyond the edges of awareness. Dancing in infinite geometries and colours, forming eternal expressions of being. Visceral vitality on its never-ending journey of discoveries, doubts, dares, mistakes and lessons. Vivacious voice vibrating the echos of the life yet to come, burning through the stillness of silence, from the hearts of humanity. We are that humanity. We are that vastness. We are the voices of the life yet to come. Awareness plays a vital role in deciding which direction humanity is going. In his fascinating book, Our Cosmic Origin, Ismael Perez states that “…humanity is the final manifestation within the Angelic Celestial Kingdom, in a process known as the descent of Spirit into matter.” Well, if that doesn’t tell us that we are indeed sparks of God incarnated into a physical body I don’t know what does.
Imagine being that Divine and Infinite Vastness of Immeasurable Nugget of Ether translated into your body as your very own life. Imagine being consciously connected to that part of you that breathes life force into your existence. Carl Rogers suggested that we are endowed with an inner drive to self-actualise. My dear reader, what if we truly gave that inner drive - your soul - the chance to lead the way? Do you think we would be witnessing the madness playing out on the world stage? Imagine you knew how to heal your body organically. Do you think there would be a level of illnesses and dysfunction our world is plagued with? Imagine how empowered you would feel as you master the skills to create an abundant, meaningful and joyful life. Imagine being a clean and clear vessel for Spirit to descend into your human sacred body to bring heaven on Earth. Do you think you would ever consider extinguishing that light within you because the external made you believe you were born less than you actually are?
Nobility for me is directly related to acknowledging my sovereignty. My right and conscious choice to tap into the best, highest and truest version of my S.E.L.F. and navigate life from that space. Living a noble, sovereign life means living with integrity, honesty and self-awareness. To live a noble life means no compromises would be made on the fundamentals that form the basis of my intrinsically good-natured heart. To live a noble life means taking responsibility for my individual sovereignty. To live a noble life is to stand in my truth and inner power against all odds. To live a noble life is to acknowledge how important, beautiful and amazing we truly are!
Empowerment is a buzzword in my field. As a personal development mentor and teacher, nothing gives me more joy and reward than witnessing a client or student make empowered and informed decisions. Taking inspired actions and formulating educated plans to follow their genius, powered by their own light and a sense of purpose. A life of purpose is an empowered life in my humble opinion. An empowered life is a life of magic, adventure, exploration, abundance and fulfilment. Genuine, authentic power comes from knowing how to ignite our inner light. True power is generated from within by rising above life’s circumstances and realising we are stronger and bigger than the dramas we give far too much credit to. True power comes from knowing that on the other side of pain, there is learning, growth and transformation. Empowerment comes from alchemising suppressed traumas into golden lessons for the advancement of our divine soul.
What is a soul anyhow? This is my definition:
Source
Of
Unique
Light
In the full chapter, I will take you on a journey of a ‘random’ soul and elaborate on the origin of light. Next week, I will share an extract from my chapter - Our Sacred Body.
